North West Venturers YC In 1961, five small family-crewed boats, cruised from Anglesey to the Isle of Man. One contained a honeymoon couple. When they returned they founded the North West Venturers Yacht Club. Its first objective was to encourage cruising and to study the principles of navigation and seamanship.
